Bring back RuPaul‘s girls.
RuPaul’s Drag Race has ru-vealed its Season 15 cast, and with 16 contestants competing (including the show’s first-ever pair of twins), this season will boast the Emmy-winning series’ largest cast yet, as well as the show’s 200th episode and the highest cash prize to date: $200,000!
The RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 cast includes multiple firsts. The twin competitors, TikTokers Sugar and Spice, will be competing as the series’ first sibling duo. They will be competing against each other for the crown. Additionally, a queen from Miami, Malaysia Babydoll Fox, has finally made it onto the show for the first time ever. Check out the roster of performers in the intro video, above.
The queen of drag, RuPaul, returns as host and head judge alongside longtime judges Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, and Ross Mathews.
As previously reported, RuPaul’s Drag Race is moving networks (again) from VH1 to MTV, debuting with a two-part season premiere on Friday, January 6, and next-day streaming on Paramount+. The competition series was on VH1 for six years, and on Logo before that.
Emmy Award-winning aftershow RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked will premiere immediately after the Season 15 two-parter on MTV. Untucked gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the backstage drama as the queens await their fate and see who will need to lip-sync for their life to avoid the week’s elimination.
Drag Race Season 14 winner Willow Pill hosted a livestream event on the show’s YouTube channel on December 13 to help fans get to know the queens of the upcoming season. Check out the livestream here. RuPaul’s Drag Race is produced by World of Wonder (WOW).
