‘Sex Education’: Otis, Eric, Maeve & Friends Return in New Season 4 Photos
The Moordale gang is back without the school that once tied them together as Otis (Asa Butterfield), Eric (Ncuti Gatwa), Maeve (Emma Mackey), and friends begin new chapters in their young lives for Sex Education‘s fourth and final season at Netflix.
In anticipation of the show’s September 21st return, the streamer is unveiling several first-look photos teasing where the fan-favorite characters are and where they may be heading in this final romp. As viewers will recall, Moordale Secondary closed its doors at the end of Season 3, and the new chapter picks up with Otis and Eric facing a new frontier as they begin their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form College.
While Otis is nervous about setting up his new clinic, Eric’s more concerned about them not being losers again. But the boys and their fellow Moordale vets are in for a culture shock at Cavendish as they thought they were progressive, but this college takes it to another level. Among the school’s perks are daily yoga in a communal garden, a strong sustainability vibe, and a group of kids who are popular for being kind.
At Cavendish, Viv (Chinenye Ezeudu) is thrown by the school’s student-led, non-competitive approach, and Jackson (Kedar Williams-Stirling) is struggling to get over Cal (Dua Saleh). Aimee (Aimee Lou Wood) is trying something new by taking an Art A-Level, and Adam (Connor Swindells) wonders if mainstream education is for him. Meanwhile, stateside, Maeve is living her dream at the prestigious Wallace University where she’s being taught by cult author Thomas Molloy (played by new addition Dan Levy).
As for where Maeve and Otis stand? He’s still pining for her at the same time he’s adjusting to not being an only child at home, or the only therapist on campus at Cavendish. In addition to Butterfield, Gatwa, Mackey, Wood, Swindells, Williams-Stirling, Ezeudu, Saleh, and Levy, Season 4’s cast includes Gillian Anderson, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Alistair Petrie, Samatha Spiro, Jim Howick, Rakhee Thakrar, and Daniel Ings.
