‘Superman & Lois’ Has Super Familiar Faces — Here’s Where You’ve Seen These Stars Before
A decade after Smallville ended, The CW has another drama about Clark Kent and Lois Lane, Superman & Lois, with a cast full of super-familiar faces.
Leading the ensemble in the title roles: Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, who previously showed off their versions of the DC Comics characters in the Arrowverse crossover events “Elseworlds” (2018) and “Crisis on Infinite Earths” (2020).
Now that the Daily Planet duo have their own show, Hoechlin and Tulloch are joined by veterans of Little Fires Everywhere, The Vampire Diaries, Nip/Tuck, and other hit series. Here are the details on the Superman & Lois stars — and the past TV roles that made them famous.

Tyler Hoechlin: ‘Teen Wolf’
Before he became the latest TV actor to don the Man of Steel’s cape, Hoechlin starred in the first four seasons of MTV’s Teen Wolf, playing werewolf Derek Hale, a mentor to protagonist Scott McCall (Tyler Posey).
Elizabeth Tulloch: ‘Grimm’
The new Lois Lane to Hoechlin’s Clark Kent, Tulloch isn’t a stranger to genre fare, either: She had a role in NBC’s Grimm as Juliette Silverton, the title monster-hunter’s veterinarian girlfriend (for the first four seasons, anyway).
Jordan Elsass: ‘Little Fires Everywhere’
Now appearing on Superman & Lois as the protagonists’ son Jonathan Kent, Elsass previously played Trip Richardson—the popular jock son of Reese Witherspoon’s character—on Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere.
Dylan Walsh: ‘Nip/Tuck’
Superman & Lois marks a return to TV stardom for this actor, who co-headlined the FX drama Nip/Tuck as plastic surgeon Dr. Sean McNamara, the long-suffering business partner of playboy Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahon). In this new project, Walsh plays Samuel Lane, Lois’ Army general father.
Emmanuelle Chriqui: ‘Entourage’
Now playing Clark Kent’s friend Lana Lang, Chriqui is best known for her stint as Sloan McQuewick, the on-again, off-again partner of Eric Murphy (Kevin Connolly) in the HBO comedy Entourage and its big-screen adaptation.
Erik Valdez: ‘General Hospital’
Valdez—aka Smallville fire chief Kyle Cushing, the husband of Lana Lang, in Superman & Lois—previously played ill-fated reality TV producer Trey Mitchell in the ABC daytime drama General Hospital.
Inde Navarrette: ‘13 Reasons Why’
Navarrette—who appears as Sarah Cushing, daughter of Lana and Kyle, in this new series—starred in the fourth season of the Netflix drama 13 Reasons Why. Her role: Estela de la Cruz, a high schooler searching for justice for her older brother.
Wolé Parks: ‘The Vampire Diaries’
On Superman & Lois, Parks is a mysterious character called The Stranger, but you might know him better as the devilish antagonist Arcadius—Cade for short—from the final season of the CW teen drama The Vampire Diaries.
Adam Rayner: ‘Tyrant’
Rayner—the actor behind Superman & Lois media mogul Morgan Edge—previously led the cast of the FX drama Tyrant as Barry Al-Fayeed, the self-exiled son of a Middle Eastern dictator.
