‘Miss Americana,’ ‘folklore’ & More Ways to Get Your Taylor Swift Fix on TV
Taylor Swift is proving that she’s the undisputed music champion of 2020 by announcing yet another surprise album before the new year, entitled evermore.
The singer/songwriter revealed that the album, labeled as a “sister” to folklore, would arrive at midnight on December 11. “I’m elated to tell you that my 9th studio album, and folklore‘s sister record, will be out tonight at midnight eastern. It’s called evermore,” Swift captioned the album cover on Instagram.

“To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in,” she wrote.
The news comes weeks after Swift surprised fans with a Disney+ special, folklore: the long pond studio sessions, featuring songs from her first surprise album in 2020. In anticipation and celebration of Swift’s latest musical venture, we offer more ways viewers can enjoy her songs, acting, and more on TV.
