‘The Bachelorette’ 2024 Trailer: Does Jenn’s Ex Return & 5 More Bombshell Moments

Jenn Tran’s path to true love isn’t going to be the easiest road. Following The Bachelorette Season 21 premiere on July 8, ABC released an extended trailer of the season filled with dramatic moments.

Right away, the drama settles in. Jenn gets a blast from her past when her ex-boyfriend appears to show up hoping to win her back. Will she let him participate? That remains to be seen.

The in-fighting between the suitors doesn’t take long to start. Aaron Erb and Devin Strader have some beef, while Sam McKinney and Sam Nejad get on the wrong side of their fellow contestants.

At the end of the season, Jenn makes a decision that could lead to one of more shocking moments in The Bachelorette history. Host Jesse Palmer says Jenn is doing something “no Bachelorette has ever done” before.

Jenn Tran's ex on The Bachelorette?

Jenn is totally caught off guard when a mysterious man shows up as she’s filming. She gasps when she sees his face and asks a producer, “What is going on? What is he doing here?”

Later, she addresses the guys about what happened. “This morning, someone from my past flew all the way here. He wants to be with me, and he wants to join this journey,” she says.

Her ex walks into the room where the rest of the guys are sitting, and he does not receive a warm welcome.

Devin & Aaron face off

Devin and Aaron share a heated moment in the trailer. “She doesn’t want to be with a boy,” Aaron says to Devin, who replies, “I don’t think I’m a boy.”

During the season, Aaron warns Jenn that “all the guys aren’t here for the right reasons,” but he won’t tell her who he’s talking about.

Thomas N. is definitely not on Team Devin. “Devin has twisted Jenn into his web of lies,” he says to Sam M.

When Sam M. says that Devin thinks this “whole thing” is just for show, Devin claps back, “I don’t give a f**k about what you guys think.”

The Sams get villain edits

Double the Sams, double the drama! When Sam N. declares he’s “already falling in love” with Jenn, the rest of the suitors do not respond well. “You don’t know about love. You’re a kid,” Spencer says.

Thomas N. appears to confront Sam N. about his feelings for Jenn. “You think you’re ready for an engagement?” a heated Thomas N. asks.

Meanwhile, Devin believes that Sam M. is “probably one of the most conniving people in this house. Everything that he says is calculated.” Who will turn out to be the villain of Season 21?!

Jenn's Bachelorette ending

“I’m done letting men dictate my relationships,” Jenn says in the final moments of the trailer.

At a tropical location toward the end of the season, Jenn sits down with host Jesse Palmer to talk about a decision she’s made. “No Bachelorette has ever done this before. You sure you want to do this?” he asks.

Jenn replies, “I have to choose myself,” and later adds, “I know what I want. I know what I deserve. I have to do what’s right for me.”
