Shaun’s (Freddie Highmore) taking a major step in his personal life in The Good Doctor Season 3 premiere — but will he take an even bigger risk in his professional one?
As the end of Season 2 and the promo have teased, Shaun and Carly (Jasika Nicole) are going on their first date when the new season begins. However, according to the logline for the premiere, it may not go well — at least in Shaun’s mind: “Following what he believes was a disastrous first date with Carly, [he] proposes a radical surgery to save a newlywed woman’s life.”
Elsewhere in “Disaster,” the new chief of surgery, Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang), announces the residents can lead surgeries, and Drs. Morgan Reznick (Fiona Gubelmann) and Alex Park (Will Yun Lee) compete for the chance to operate on an elderly patient with cancer.
