‘The Perfectionists’ Ends One ‘PLL’ Relationship: Where the Other Romances Are Now
Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse)
In Episode 4 of The Perfectionists, Alison signed divorce papers from Emily. The reason for the divorce was listed as the marriage being “irrevocably broken.”
Aria (Lucy Hale) and Ezra (Ian Harding)
An update on “Ezria” came via “leaked text messages” posted to the Pretty Little Liars Twitter account. They had a baby girl named Katherine Ella.
Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Toby (Keegan Allen)
At the end of PLL, Spencer and Toby were just getting back on track. A phone call between Mona and Hanna in The Perfectionists Episode 2 revealed that “Spoby” eloped — without telling anyone.
Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn)
In case you forgot, Hanna was pregnant in the Pretty Little Liars series finale, and a phone call between her and Mona in Episode 2 of The Perfectionists revealed she had the baby.
Mona (Janel Parrish) and her Paris boyfriend (James C. Bistrow)
At the end of the PLL series finale, Mona was living in Paris and had a new boyfriend. In the series premiere of The Perfectionists, she told Alison she left her life in Paris behind, so the assumption is that she also left him there.

You can only live in denial for so long, as Alison (Sasha Pieterse) learns in Wednesday’s episode of The Perfectionists. The latest update on the spinoff regarding one of Pretty Little Liars‘ romances is one that everyone knew was coming, but still hurt fans.
With Alison and Mona (Janel Parrish) the only PLL characters who are series regulars on The Perfectionists, the future looked grim for “Emison” from the beginning of the series.
Still, Alison wasn’t ready to give up on her marriage. Though Emily couldn’t “get past the past,” she hoped starting over at her new job at Beacon Heights University would ultimately help their relationship.
Instead, it was clear that distance wouldn’t solve their problems.
