‘Umbrella Academy’: 7 Burning Questions for a Potential Season 3

Welcome to a new reality.
The Umbrella Academy ended its second season with the Hargreeves siblings returning to the present from the ’60s, only to find their home was very different. Their father, Reginald (Colm Feore), was alive, and there was a new team of (presumably) super-powered individuals, the Sparrow Academy, including their previously dead brother Ben (Justin H. Min). The timeline had clearly been changed.
Netflix has yet to renew the series for a third season, but creator Steve Blackman told TV Insider he hopes it will. “I’m very proud of what this cast and crew and writers have done,” he said. “I love this season. I think it’s a step up from Season 1, but let’s see what Netflix sees, what the fans think. If we’re lucky to have a Season 3, I’d be thrilled.”
And after that cliffhanger, fans are hoping to see more as well. But if it does return for a third season, what does it need to address? Scroll down for some of our burning questions.
