Alex Standall (Miles Heizer)

It’s no secret that Alex isn’t a fan of Bryce’s. At one point in Season 2, Alex’s pent-up anger releases when he calls Bryce a rapist in the middle of the hallway at school. Viewers have seen Alex in fights throughout the show’s run, and considering his connection to both of Bryce’s victims, Hannah and Jessica, it wouldn’t be impossible to believe he could have killed the jock.

Justin Foley (Brandon Flynn)

This Liberty High student and former bestie to Bryce took a turn down the addiction path in Season 2 to cope with everything going on. From Hannah’s death to Bryce’s rape of Jessica that he didn’t report, Justin was dealing with a lot of inner turmoil. Knowing his history with the two women Bryce hurt and his clear distaste for the athlete, Justin is a prime possible suspect.

Jessica Davis (Alisha Boe)

As one of Bryce’s rape victims, Jessica has been vocal about her dislike for the jock. Perhaps her anger will manifest in murder? While we don’t know her as a violent person, it’s not entirely unlikely that she could take out her aggression on the widely-disliked student.

Tyler Down (Devin Druid)

In Season 2, fans saw Tyler driven to the point of almost committing a mass shooting at a Liberty High dance. It is more than safe to say Bryce was one of the many contributing factors to Tyler’s decision making in this matter as the jock repeatedly bullied him. Since his shooting effort was thwarted, could Tyler make another rash decision and hunt down his tormentor Bryce? Anything is possible.

Chloe Rice (Anne Winters)

As Bryce’s girlfriend, Chloe would go along with almost anything he asked of her, but her doubts became apparent in Season 2 when a compromising Polaroid surfaced of her in the school’s clubhouse. The implication was that Bryce raped her as well, but she also revealed she was pregnant in the Season 2 finale, could she kill him in an attempt to escape his clutches? It’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Zach Dempsey (Ross Butler)

Despite Bryce’s bully-like behavior towards this supposed friend, Zach would often grin and bear Bryce’s jabs and whims. In Season 2 though, Zach took a clear step to the side, seeking justice rather than complying with Bryce’s destructive behavior. Could all of those years of verbal abuse and teasing take its toll on Zach to the point of committing murder?

Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette)

The boy who pined for Hannah throughout the series went to extreme lengths in an attempt to uncover the truth about Bryce’s rape of her, even enduring a major beating, so we know he’s tough. Could Clay continue to seek justice for Hannah, Jessica and Bryce’s other victims by committing the ultimate crime? It’s hard to tell, but he’s surprised us in the past before.

Just because Bryce is dead in Season 3 doesn’t mean he was killed by just one person. There could be a group mentality going on when it comes to the mysterious case, and as most fans know, the kids at Liberty High are all about protecting their collective secrets if Hannah’s tapes were any indication.
