Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Michelle Simms on Bunheads
Following a successful career on Broadway, (“Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Anything Goes”), two-time Tony winner Sutton Foster played the lead role in ABC Family’s 2012 drama, Bunheads. Foster starred as Michelle Simms, a former Las Vegas showgirl who gets married on an impulse, moves to her husband’s hometown and ends up teaching ballet lesson’s at her new mother-in-law’s dance studio. Although the show was short-lived (2012-13), Foster proved to be a triple threat on television by acting, dancing, and singing her way through the Gilmore Girls– influenced drama.
Debi Mazar
Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Shauna Roberts on Entourage
Before she took the role of Liza’s witty, Brooklyn-based BFF on Younger, Debi Mazar played Vincent Chase’s brutally honest publicist, Shauna Roberts, on HBO’s Entourage. Just like Maggie would do anything for Liza, Shauna would throw a few punches for Vince as his “west-coast Mother.”

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Lizzie McGuire on Lizzie McGuire
Hilary Duff is no stranger to television. Duff practically grew up on the small screen, having starred in numerous films and TV shows in addition to releasing four studio albums—all before the age of 20. Duff’s most well-known role was that of Lizzie McGuire in the Disney Channel teen comedy of the same name. Duff’s confident, cool and collected portrayal of Kelsey couldn’t be any more opposite to the shy and clumsy Lizzie.

Like most of the cast, Nico Tortorella has no problem playing diverse characters. On Fox’s crime drama, The Following, Tortorella played Jacob Wells in the first season of the Kevin Bacon-led thriller. It’s hard to believe that mellow Josh would ever inflict pain on another human being (other than tatting someone up), but Tortorella’s Jacob was a sadistic killer under the spell of serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy).

Where You’ve Seen Her Before: Cricket Caruth-Reilly on GCB a.k.a. Good Christian Bitches
Miriam Shor previously worked with Younger creator Darren Star on ABC’s short-lived, but beloved—and controversial—GCB. Shor played Cricket Caruth-Reilly, an authoritative, tough and ambitious GCB. Her GCB co-star, Kristen Chenoweth, shows up as a guest star on Season 4 of Younger.
Peter Hermann
Where You’ve Seen Him Before: Trevor Langan on Law and Order:SVU
Prior to starring on Younger as Charles Brooks, Peter Hermann was Trevor Langan, one of New York’s high-priced defense attorneys on Law and Order: SVU. Hermann may have traded in his law license for an editor’s pen on Younger, but he found something—or someone—on the set of SVU that he could not quit: wife Mariska Hargitay, who portrays Detective Olivia Benson on the Dick Wolf series. The two met on set and were married in 2004.
After three charming (and sexy…and funny…and absolutely wonderful) seasons of Younger, audiences are hooked on the drama 40-year-old Liza Miller (Sutton Foster) created for herself by pretending to be a 26-year-old publishing assistant. And now that BFF Kelsey (Hilary Duff) knows her secret (and seemingly seeks solace in the arms of Liza’s ex, Josh (Nico Tortorella)), Season 4 is sure to bring even more drama.
