12 Pretty, Pretty Good Gifts For the ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Enthusiasts
After 12 long seasons, Larry David’s loosely scripted series Curb Your Enthusiasm – and David’s character’s reign of unbridled honest terror – is coming to an end.
Created by David in 2000, the series follows David’s life as a semi-retired television writer living in Los Angeles and starred fellow comedic actors Cheryl Hines as his wife, Jeff Garlin as his manager and best friend, Susie Essman as Jeff’s wife, and J.B. Smoove as David’s house mate. The series also become well-known for its impressive list of other celebrity guests from Ted Danson to Wanda Sykes to the late Richard Lewis. Aside from David’s own personal reputation of being fairly upfront, Curb‘s charm lies in the magic of improv seen in every episode. Each episode only had about seven pages of scripted material for the actors to work with while the majority of the show’s famous antics and quips were created by the whims of the actors.
While we can’t say that any gift can fully replace the joys – and second-hand embarrassment – that the series brought to its dedicated fans, we can say that some of these gifts are prettyyy, pretty good. From books on how to commit social assassination to golf balls with David’s face on them, check out our top picks below.
