Alexander Calvert is a Canadian film and TV actor who broke out in the U.S. in 2017 when he was cast as Jack on the long-running sci-fi series "Supernatural" (The CW, 2005- ). Calvert appeared in a number of commercials for globally recognized brands before nabbing his very first screen acting role at the age of 15 on the Canadian/American sci-fi series "The Dead Zone" (USA, 2002-07). Throughout the remainder of the 2000s, Calvert continued landed small parts in independent films like "To Be Fat Like Me" (2007) and "Lost Boys: The Tribe" (2008), as well as TV guest spots on shows like "The Troop" (Nickelodeon, 2009- ).
Calvert continued nabbing small roles in films and TV well into the 2010s. Then in 2015 he landed his first notable recurring TV role on The CW superhero series "Arrow" (The CW, 2012- ). Calvert played Lonnie Machin on six episodes of the series, throughout 2015 and 2016. He also appeared in the Golden Globe nominated comedy-drama "The Edge of Seventeen" (2016) in 2016. With his acting career on the rise Calvert nabbed his biggest role to date in 2017 when he was cast as Jack on "Supernatural." Calvert joined the series during its thirteenth season, which premiered in the fall of 2017.
