Alisyn Camerota

Born on June 21, 1966, Alisyn Camerota is an American journalist, author and anchor/correspondent from Shrewsbury, New Jersey. After college, Camerota worked at several different stations, including WHDH in Boston and WTTG in Washington D.C., and for "America's Most Wanted." She also worked on Ted Koppel's primetime documentaries. In February 1998, Camerota joined the Fox network as a correspondent for its Boston bureau, reporting on different stories and contributing to the network's affiliate service, "Fox News Edge."

In October 2007, Camerota started a blog on the Fox & Friends website called "In The Greenroom." On September 30, 2013, Camerota began co-hosting "America's News Headquarters." She was also a co-host on "Fox & Friends First." On July 14, 2014, CNN and CNN International announced that Camerota had joined the CNN news team to serve as a TV anchor. She co-anchored on CNN's "New Day." On Monday, April 19, 2021, Camerota began co-hosting "CNN Newsroom." She is a two-time Emmy Award winner. Camerota's debut novel, Amanda Wakes Up, was selected by National Public Radio as one of the best books of the year. Alisyn Camerota's memoir, Combat Love: A Story of Leaving, Longing, and Searching for Home, was released on March 26, 2024.
