Angelique Midthunder

Angelique Midthunder is an Emmy-nominated and Artios Award-winning casting director, producer, and former actress known for her significant contributions to film and television. Born on January 9, 1971, in Bangkok, Thailand, she was adopted and raised in the United States.

She began her career in the mid-1990s as an actress, securing a leading role in a foreign film. However, her intrigue for the casting process led her to transition behind the camera. In 2005, she founded Midthunder Casting, where she specializes in casting Indigenous content, discovering new Indigenous talent, and maintaining longstanding relationships with top Indigenous filmmakers. ​
