Antonia Gentry's big break arrived in 2019 when she became a co-star on the series "Ginny & Georgia" (Netflix, 2019-). Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997, Gentry began playing piano and acting out plays written for her by her mother as a small child. She was still a high school student attending Davidson Fine Arts in nearby Augusta when she landed her first professional acting job, appearing in a PSA warning against the dangers of texting and driving in 2014.
Gentry went on to study acting at Emory University, where she was active with the school's Rathskeller Comedy Improv troupe and starred in theatrical productions including "Romeo and Juliet." Gentry also landed a small role in the independent comedy "Driver's Ed: Tales from the Streets" (2015) and later in the high school comedy "Candy Jar" (2018). After graduating with her bachelor's degree in 2019, she made an appearance on the science fiction series "Raising Dion" (Netflix, 2019-) before being cast as the teenage Ginny on "Ginny & Georgia."
