Brenda De Banzie

Brenda de Banzie was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She was nominated for a BAFTA Award for "Hobson's Choice" in 1954. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties and the sixties, appearing in "As Long As They're Happy" (1957), "The 39 Steps" (1959) and "Too Many Crooks" (1959) with Terry-Thomas. She also appeared in "Come September" (1961) with Rock Hudson and the crime picture "The Mark" (1961) with Maria Schell.

Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "I Thank a Fool" (1962), the Peter Sellers action movie "The Pink Panther" (1964) and the James Garner comedy adaptation "A Man Could Get Killed" (1966). She also appeared in the Hayley Mills dramatic adaptation "Pretty Polly" (1968). de Banzie was most recently credited in "The Entertainer" (1989). de Banzie passed away in March 1981 at the age of 72.
