Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised in Alaska, Britney Young came to Los Angeles to attend the USC School of Cinematic Arts. After graduation, she held a number of behind the scenes jobs on film and TV productions like "Savages" (2012), "The Mentalist" (CBS, 2008-2015), and "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water" (2015).
In 2016, Young's career in front of the camera took a positive turn, when she appeared as a guest star in single episodes of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (The CW, 2015-), and "Better Things" (FX, 2016-), as well as a recurring role on "Those Who Can't" (TruTV, 2016-), playing a student in the comedy about inept high school teachers. The following year she premiered in her first series regular role, as one of the new female wrestlers on "G.L.O.W." (Netflix, 2017-). During the show's first hiatus, Young found the time to play a guest role on "The Librarians" (TNT, 2014-18).
