Chris Stein is an American musician and producer best known as the co-founder and guitarist of the iconic new wave band Blondie. Beyond his work with Blondie, Stein has had a notable career in Hollywood, where his music has been featured in a wide range of films spanning several decades.

He began contributing to film soundtracks in the early 1980s, with his work appearing in "Union City" (1980), "Polyester" (1981), and "Just Before Dawn" (1981). In addition to his musical contributions, Stein took on an acting role in the film "Roadie" (1980).
