Chris Thomas King has worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. King's early acting career mostly consisted of roles in various films, such as the crime drama "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" (2000) with George Clooney and the documentary "Down From the Mountain" (2001) with Emmylou Harris. He also was featured in the miniseries "The Blues" (2003-04). King won an Album Of The Year Grammy Award in 2001.

In the early 2000s and the 2010s, King devoted his time to various credits, such as "Ray" (2004) starring Jamie Foxx, "ReAct Now: Music & Relief" (MTV, 2005-06) and "Kill Switch" (2009). He also worked on "Tremé" (HBO, 2009-2014) and "The Mechanic" with Jason Statham (2011). King's music was most recently used in the action movie "The Expendables 3" (2014) with Sylvester Stallone.
