From modeling to dance, jazz to theater, television to cinema, Crystal Allen brings a fresh-faced girl-next-door charm to her work that belies her athleticism and grace. Best known as the fearless scientist Amanda Hayes in the films "Anaconda 3: Offspring" and "Anacondas: Trail of Blood," Allen's diverse career began with her childhood love of dance which took her through years of studying ballet in Alberta, Canada and later to the Joffrey Ballet School in New York and onto international stages.

Captivated by the drama behind the dance, Allen returned to New York to enroll in the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where she performed in several plays, experience which brought her to television and film. After small roles in high profile shows like "The Sopranos" and the feature film "Maid in Manhattan," Allen came to the attention of action and science fictions fans with notable roles in the series "JAG" and as the eye-catching D'Nesh in "Star Trek-Enterprise" in 2005. That same year Allen became the advertising representative for Tic Tac candies before co-starring role in the family oriented 2006 television movie "Falling in Love with the Girl Next Door."

In addition to acting, Allen's blonde, blue-eyed good looks brought her a modeling contract which took her abroad frequently. Allen continued guest-starring in various series, such as "Desperate Housewives," but her popularity in sci-fi brought her another "Star Trek" appearance in the movie "Of Gods and Men." In 2011 Allen returned to action in the TV movie "Ghost Storm."
