Cyril Ritchard

Cyril Ritchard marked his early career with roles in "Blackmail" (1929), the dramatic adaptation "The Winslow Boy" (1948) with Robert Donat and "Caesar and Cleopatra" (NBC, 1955-56). Later, Ritchard acted in "The Good Fairy" (1955-56), "Jack and the Beanstalk" (NBC, 1956-57) and "Christmas Tree" (NBC, 1958-59). He also appeared in "Half a Sixpence" (1968).

Later in his career, Ritchard voiced characters in "The Hobbit" (NBC, 1977-78). Ritchard passed away in December 1977 at the age of 80.
