Dan Erickson

​Dan Erickson is an American television screenwriter, producer, and showrunner, best known for creating the psychological thriller series "Severance" on Apple TV+.

Before achieving mainstream success, Erickson wrote for Spike TV's "Lip Sync Battle Preshow" and worked in series development for the entertainment company Super Deluxe. In 2016, his pilot script for "Severance" was recognized by The Blood List, leading to a collaboration with Ben Stiller's Red Hour Productions. Apple TV+ subsequently picked up Severance for a straight-to-series order, with the first season premiering on February 18, 2022, to critical acclaim.
