Derek and the Dominos was a British-American blues rock band formed in the spring of 1970 by guitarist and vocalist Eric Clapton, keyboardist Bobby Whitlock, bassist Carl Radle, and drummer Jim Gordon. The group is best known for their 1970 double album "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs," which features the iconic title track "Layla."
