Dolores Gray was a prolific actress who created a name for herself largely on the big screen. Gray marked her early career with roles in the Bette Davis drama "Mr. Skeffington" (1945), "Texaco Star Theater" (NBC, 1947-1953) and "It's Always Fair Weather" (1955). She went on to act in "Kismet" (1955) with Howard Keel, the adaptation "The Opposite Sex" (1956) with June Allyson and the comedy "Designing Woman" (1957) with Gregory Peck.

She also appeared in "The Sid Caesar Show" (NBC, 1958-59) and "The Royal Variety Performance 1987" (1989-1990). Later in her career, Gray appeared in "The 50th Annual Tony Awards" (CBS, 1995-96).
