Edwin McCain worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. McCain's early acting career was founded on his roles in various dramas, such as "Malibu Shores" (NBC, 1995-96). He had an early role on the television special "The 4th Annual Celebrity Weddings: In Style" (ABC, 1999-2000). McCain also contributed music to "Message in A Bottle" (1999) with Kevin Costner.
In the early 2000s, McCain devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Journey" (2001) starring Henry Winkler, "I Love the '70s" (VH1, 2002-03) and "I Love The '90s" (VH1, 2003-04). He also worked on "A Cinderella Story" with Hilary Duff (2004) and "I Love the '80s: 3D" (VH1, 2005-06). He also appeared in the Julian Adams dramatic adventure "The Last Confederate: The Story of Robert Adams" (2007). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Undateable" (VH1, 2009-2010). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" (VH1, 2010-11). Most recently, McCain worked on "Flipping Ships" (Animal Planet, 2014-15).
