Erin Burnett

Erin Burnett, born on July 2, 1976, in Mardela Springs, Maryland, was a prominent American news anchor and journalist. She gained recognition as the anchor of "Erin Burnett OutFront" (CNN, 2011- ), a dynamic news program on CNN that aired on weeknights. Burnett began her career as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs, where her work in mergers and acquisitions kindled an interest in journalism. She transitioned to news media, starting as a writer and booker for CNN's "Moneyline" (CNN, 1980-2019)
