Gigi Hadid

Fashion model Gigi Hadid has been a ubiquitous and glamorous presence in print media, music videos, and reality television series like "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Bravo, 2010- ), among many other showcases. Born Jelena Noura Hadid on April 23, 1995 in Los Angeles, California, she was the eldest of three children by real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and his second wife, the former model and television personality Yolanda Hadid; her sister, Bella, was also a successful fashion model.

Gigi Hadid began modeling as a toddler, appearing in layouts for Baby Gap before cutting short her career to focus on her education. She was active in sports as a student at Malibu High School, but returned to modeling in 2011; though campaigns for Guess, among other clients, and appearances with her mother on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" made her a familiar face to fashion and pop culture devotees alike. Hadid also took time to continue her studies at The New School in New York City, which she balanced with cover shoots for Vogue, among many other publications, and appearances in music videos for Taylor Swift (the all-star "Bad Blood"), former boyfriend Cody Simpson, and Latin singer Miguel.

In 2015, Hadid's ascension to the upper echelons of the modeling world was confirmed by an appearance in the Pirelli calendar and on the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show," and she continued to earn coverage in media gossip outlets for high profile relationships with the likes of singers Joe Jonas and Zayn Malik of One Direction.
