American actor Jack Champion was born on November 16, 2004 and raised in Blacksburg, Virginia. Interested in acting as a child, his first credit was in the documentary series "American Genius" (Nat Geo, 2015). He had small roles in "Evil Kin" (Investigation Discovery, 2013- ) and the film "Where Are You, Bobby Browning?" (2016). In 2018 Champion landed his first leading role in the comedy-horror film "The Night Sitter" (2018).
Building on his experience, he successfully navigated the extensive audition process, earning the role of Spider in the blockbuster film "Avatar: The Way of Water" (2022). The filming, which included shooting his scenes for two additional sequels, was physically demanding, requiring a personal trainer and lessons in scuba and freediving. Returning to the horror genre, Champion played Ethan Landry in "Scream VI" (2023).
