Jack Rooke

Jack Rooke is an English comedian, writer, and performer known for his candid and humorous explorations of grief, mental health, and sexuality.

Rooke created and wrote "Big Boys," a semi-autobiographical comedy-drama for Channel 4, which premiered in 2022. The series follows a fictionalized version of Rooke (portrayed by Dylan Llewellyn) navigating university life, coming to terms with his sexuality, and coping with the loss of his father. The show has been praised for its heartfelt storytelling and authentic depiction of male friendships. In 2024, Rooke won a BAFTA for Best Writer: Comedy for his work on the series.
