Jan Smithers is an American actress best known for her role as Bailey Quarters on the popular TV series "WKRP in Cincinnati" (1978–1982). Her character, Bailey, was known for being intelligent, relatable, and subtly charming, making her a fan favorite.
Jan Smithers began her career with roles in "Love Story" (1973-74), "Where the Lilies Bloom" (1974) and the Scott Jacoby comedy "Our Winning Season" (1978).
