Jean-Paul Vignon was an accomplished actor who appeared in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. He appeared in the TV movie "Double Agent" (ABC, 1986-87). He additionally was featured in the miniseries "The French Atlantic Affair" (1979-1980) and "Robert Kennedy and His Times" (1984-85). Vignon worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Rest in Peace, Mrs. Columbo" (ABC, 1989-1990).
Following that project, he appeared in the Donna Dixon comedy "Lucky Stiff" (1990) and the Teri Garr suspenseful adaptation "Perfect Alibi" (1994). In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Vignon lent his talents to projects like "Just Married" (2003) starring Ashton Kutcher, "A Good Year" (2006) starring Russell Crowe and "(500) Days of Summer" with Joseph Gordon-Levitt (2009). His credits also expanded to the Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett box office smash "Robin Hood" (2010). Most recently, Vignon worked on the Brad Pitt period drama "By the Sea" (2015).
