Jenny Shimizu is an American model and actress, best known for being one of the first Asian-American supermodels to gain prominence in the fashion industry. She rose to fame in the 1990s after being discovered by Calvin Klein and becoming the face of their CK One fragrance campaign, where her androgynous look and shaved head challenged conventional beauty standards.
In addition to her modeling work, Shimizu has acted in several films and TV shows, including "Foxfire" (1996), where she starred alongside Angelina Jolie. Off-screen, she became known for her high-profile relationships, including with Jolie, who has spoken publicly about being in love with her.
Shimizu was also notable as an LGBTQ+ trailblazer in fashion and media, being one of the few openly gay models at the time. She later married Michelle Harper, a fashion entrepreneur and socialite.
