Johanna Braddy was an American actress who was best known for her recurring TV roles on "UnREAL" (Lifetime, 2015- ) and "Quantico" (ABC, 2015- ). Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Braddy was always drawn to performing arts. She began her performing career with the Atlanta Workshop Players when she was still a young teenager, and had every intention on becoming a professional opera singer. All of that changed, however, after Braddy booked a recurring voice-acting role on the animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" (Nickelodeon, 2005-08), and then a recurring role on the live action series "The Riches" (FX, 2007-08) soon after. While working on both shows Braddy quickly realized that she loved acting, and promptly switched her long-term career focus from opera singing to professional screen acting. Thus, once her mind was made up, she moved to Los Angeles and immediately began auditioning for film and TV roles.

After nabbing a couple of bit parts on TV, Braddy nabbed her first lead film acting role in the horror movie "The Grudge 3" (2009). That same year she began appearing in a recurring role on the college-themed series "Greek" (Freeform, 2007-2011). By the early 2010s Braddy was landing parts on such films as "Easy A" (2010), "Paranormal Activity 3" (2011), and "The Collection" (2012). In 2012 Braddy became a popular star on the Internet when she began appearing as a castmember on the web series "Video Game High School" (RocketJump Studios, 2012-14). The web series quickly developed a cult following and by the end of its run in 2014 had been viewed tens of millions of times on various web platforms. With her acting career already on the rise, Braddy had a breakout year in 2015. In addition to appearing on 10 episodes of the Lifetime drama series "UnREAL," she also began co-starring on the ABC crime drama series "Quantico," the latter of which also starred Jake McLaughlin and Priyanka Chopra. The third season of "Quantico" premiered in April 2018, with Braddy reprising her role as FBI agent Shelby Wyatt.
