John Merivale was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Merivale's career beginnings included film roles in "The Pursuit of the Graf Spee" (1956) and the dramatic adaptation "A Night to Remember" (1958) with Kenneth More. Merivale then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in the thrilling adaptation "The List of Adrian Messenger" (1963) with George C Scott and the George Segal dramatic adaptation "King Rat" (1965).
Later in his career, Merivale acted in "Arabesque" (1966) with Gregory Peck. Merivale was married to Dinah Sheridan. Merivale passed away in February 1990 at the age of 73.
