Jonathan Haze's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the western "Five Guns West" (1955) with John Lund, "East of Eden" (1955) and "The Oklahoma Woman" (1956). He also appeared in "The Day the World Ended" (1956), the crime flick "Swamp Women" (1956) with Marie Windsor and the western "The Gunslinger" (1956) with John Ireland. He kept working in film throughout the fifties, starring in "Viking Women and the Sea Serpent" (1957) with Abby Dalton, "Not of This Earth" (1957) with Paul Birch and "Stakeout on Dope Street" (1958). He also appeared in the Robert Vaughn horror film "Teenage Caveman" (1958).

Haze had a number of different projects under his belt in the sixties through the 2010s, including "Childish Things" (1969) starring Don Murray, "Sammy Stops the World" (1978) and "Vice Squad" with Season Hubley (1982). His credits also expanded to "Corman's World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel" (2011) starring Roger Corman. Haze most recently appeared on the Dick Miller documentary "That Guy Dick Miller" (2015).
