Lenny Venito

Born and raised in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn in the 1970s and 80s, Lenny Venito, drew on his New York energy and knew at an early age that he wanted to be an actor. He attended the prestigious High School for Performing Arts and signed with his first agent based on his senior showcase. The quintessential New Yorker, Venito embraced his accent and attitude, and consistently landed guest roles on shows like "The Equalizer" (CBS, 1985-89) and "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98), as well as supporting roles in films like "Money for Nothing" (1993) and "Rounders" (1998).

His first series regular role came as a brash Italian-American on the short-lived "Living in Captivity" (Fox, 1998). After the show was cancelled, Venito continued to appear in supporting roles, most notably in "Men In Black II" (2002) and on 9 episodes of "The Sopranos" (HBO, 1999-2007), playing Murmur, one of Tony Soprano's associates.

Another series regular role came in the form of "The Knights of Prosperity" (ABC, 2007), but the show was cancelled before finishing its first season. Venito's highest profile role to date came on "The Neighbors" (ABC, 2012-14). The series focused on Venito and Jamie Gertz, playing the parents of a family who move into a gated community populated entirely by aliens.

Venito's next series regular role came in "Kevin Can Wait" (CBS, 2016-), playing a pal of the lead character, played by Kevin James in his long awaited return to network television.
