Marissa Neitling was born on May 8, 1984 in Lake Oswego, OR, Neitling received a double major in Math and Theater Arts from the University of Oregon, and later earned an MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama.
Neitling's first role was a brief cameo in the indie dramedy "The Go-Getter," starring Lou Taylor Pucci and Zooey Deschanel. She next landed an arc on the action/drama series "Leverage" (TNT, 2008-2012), portraying Christina Valada/Lacey Beaumont. Neitling's biggest role yet came in the big summer earthquake blockbuster "San Andreas" (2015), in which she appeared alongside Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. After appearing in the drama "Mysterious Ways" (2016), Neitling was cast as Lt. Kara Foster in the naval drama series "The Last Ship" (TNT, 2014- ).
