Masa Yamaguchi is a Japanese-Australian actor, stunt performer, and fight choreographer. Born in London to Japanese parents, he grew up in Tokyo before moving to Melbourne, Australia, at age 15. He attended Brighton Grammar School and later graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2001, becoming the first Japanese student to do so.
Yamaguchi has appeared in various films and television series, including roles in "The Condemned" (2007) as Go Saiga, "The Wolverine" (2013) as a Yakuza member, and "The Railway Man" (2013) as a Kempei officer. He has also performed on stage, notably in Katherine Thomson's "King Tide" with the Griffin Theatre Company.
Yamaguchi continues to contribute to the entertainment industry, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, with recent projects including the film "Life After Fighting" (2024), where he played the role of Ethan, and "The Narrow Road to the Deep North" (2025), where he played the role of Lieutenant Fukuhara.
