Megan Hutchings is an American actress who became a familiar face on television and film throughout the early aughts. Hutchings began acting professionally in 2007, when she landed a series regular gig as Geneva on the second season of the Canadian sitcom "The Smart Woman Survival Guide" (W Network/CosmoTV, 2006-2008). After making her film debut in the horror chiller "Nostrum" (2010), Hutchings made a number of guest appearances on shows such as "What's Up Warthogs!" (Family/Disney XD Canada, 2011-2012), "My Babysitter's a Vampire" (Teletoon/Disney Channel, 2011-2013), "The Listener" (CTV, 2009-2014), and "King" (Showcase, 2011-2012), all of which were shot and aired primarily in Canada.
Hutchings scored her biggest role yet when she was cast as Laura Knight on the showbiz drama series "The L.A. Complex" (CTV/The CW, 2012). When that program ended after two seasons, Hutchings took on roles in a few made for TV movies, namely "The Good Witch's Destiny" (Hallmark Channel, 2013), "A Surrogate's Terror" (Lifetime, 2014), and "The Hazing Secret" (Lifetime, 2014). After taking a break from acting for a few years, Hutchings made a return to TV when she was cast as Jane in the final season of the historical romantic drama "Reign" (The CW, 2013-2017), about the early exploits of Mary, Queen of Scots. Hutchings then landed two series regular roles, playing Tracy on the courtroom drama "In Contempt" (BET, 2018), as well as Veronica in the dysfunctional family sitcom "Crawford" (CBC, 2018).
