Milo Parker is a British child actor best known for his roles in the films "Robot Overlords" (2014) and "Mr. Holmes" (2015). Parker was born in the United Kingdom in 2002 and began his professional training as an actor when he was still a young boy. Parker studied acting at the famed Youngblood Theatre Company in Britain, where he learned the necessary acting chops that would later help him excel. He nabbed his very first film role at the age of 12 in the 2014 British independent science-fiction film "Robot Overlords." That film also starred the famed actors Ben Kingsley and Gillian Anderson.
The following year Parker co-starred alongside Ian McKellen in "Mr. Holmes." That film, about an aging Sherlock Holmes, was a huge success with critics and racked up a number of film award nominations. That same year Parker appeared in the animated comedy film "Ghosthunters on Icy Trails" (2015), thus lending further credence to his already growing profile as a young actor on the rise. In 2016 Parker had the opportunity to work with the legendary Tim Burton on "Mrs. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" (2016), which was adapted from author Ransom Rigg's popular novel of the same name. Having only appeared in films, Parker added television acting to his resume in 2017 when he landed a part on the second season of the British comedy series "The Durrells in Corfu" (ITV, 2016- ). Parker played Gerald Durrell on the second season of the show, which premiered on ITV in 2017.
