Montell Jordan brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Jordan worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "10th Annual Soul Train Music Awards" (WB, 1995-96), "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98) and "Nickelodeon's 8th Annual Kids' Choice Awards" (Nickelodeon, 1994-95). He also contributed to "The 1995 Billboard Music Awards" (Fox, 1995-96), "The Blockbuster Entertainment Awards" (CBS, 1994-95) and "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday" (1996). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Jordan's music mostly appeared in films like "Ringmaster" (1998), "Save the Last Dance" (2001) with Julia Stiles and "How High" (2001).

Jordan was a talented musician whose most recent work was featured in the dramatic adaptation "Freedom Writers" (2007) with Hilary Swank, the Will Ferrell hit comedy "Step Brothers" (2008) and the dramatic adaptation "For Colored Girls" (2010) with Janet Jackson. Jordan's music was most recently used in the Anna Kendrick blockbuster comedy sequel "Pitch Perfect 2" (2015).
