Nic Bishop

Nicholas Bishop first gained attention as the star of Australian crime drama "Above the Law." Shortly thereafter, he landed on the long-running soap "Home and Away," where for three years he played police detective Peter Baker. Moving to the United States but keeping his predilection for playing cops, Bishop co-starred in short-lived supernatural crime drama "Past Life," also featuring Kelli Giddish.

After that show's cancellation, Bishop joined medical crime drama "Body of Proof" as the lead investigator and primary sounding board for Dana Delany's medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt. Bishop's character was written out of the show after two seasons.
