Nicholas D'Agosto made his acting debut in "Election," one of 1999's most critically-acclaimed films. He attended prep school in the Omaha, Nebraska area, where the filming of "Election" was taking place, and only recently graduated when he landed the pivotal role of Larry Fouch, a high school committee chairman.

After a small supporting role in the camp "Psycho Beach Party" (2000), D'Agosto co-starred in the comedy-drama "Rocket Science" (2007) and co-starred in horror comedy "Drive Thru" (2007). During this period, he also had extended arcs on hit sitcom "The Office" (NBC 2005-2013) and science fiction fantasy "Heroes" (NBC 2006-2010), where he portrayed West Rosen, a teenager with the ability to fly.

D'Agosto starred in high school cheerleader comedy "Fired Up!" (2009) and co-starred in indie comedy-drama "Dirty Girl" (2010) opposite Juno Temple and Jane Austen-derived romantic comedy "From Prada to Nada" (2011). His highest-profile screen role to date came in horror sequel "Final Destination 5" (2011), after which he starred opposite Josh Gad in "Mardi Gras: Spring Break" (2011).

Two years later, D'Agosto joined the cast of critically-acclaimed cable series "Masters of Sex" (Showtime 2013-16) as Dr. Ethan Haas, followed by supporting roles on Batman origin series "Gotham" (Fox 2014- ), as the young Harvey Dent, and on Shonda Rhimes' "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC 2005- ).

His first TV starring role came in the sitcom "Trial and Error" (NBC 2017-), as a young lawyer defending an eccentric murder suspect played by John Lithgow.
