Birth Name: Noël Kristi Wells

Birth Date: December 23, 1986

Age: 37 years old

Birth Place: San Antonio, Texas

Born in San Antonio, TX, Noël Wells got her first taste of speaking in public as a member of the speech and debating teams at Memorial High School in Victoria. Going on to study at University of Texas at Austin where she joined vaudeville sketch theatre Esther's Follies before graduating in 2010 with degrees in Radio-TV-Film and Plan II Honors (a multidisciplinary Bachelor of Arts program).

Following college, Wells moved to Los Angeles, where she became a member of respected improvisational/comedy theatre company the Upright Citizen's Brigade as part of comedy group New Money. The troupe posted several sketches online including posts on popular websites Cracked.com, FunnyOrDie and CollegeHumor.com. Specialising in kooky characters, perhaps best exemplified by her three part "Manic Pixie Nightmare Girl" series, Wells often multitasked not just performing in front of the camera but also acting as writer, editor, director (such as "Siri Finds Out Steve Jobs Died" in 2011), producer or even costume designer. Cumulatively, Wells; videos raked up over 13 million views on YouTube. Wells also co-starred in the Duplass brothers' mumblecore comedy "The Do-Deca-Pentathlon" (2012). Her career really started to pick up momentum in 2013. First she picked up a role in leftfield kids action show "The Aquabats! Super Show!" (The Hub 2012-) starring in the season two finale (directed by My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way). Then in June she took one of the leads roles in indie romantic comedy "Forev" (and also picked up a credit for "additional screenplay material"). Wells made her "Saturday Night Live" (NBC 1975-) debut in September of that year as the only female among six new featured players on the 39th season of the venerable late night staple.
