Chilean-born Pedro Pascal seems to have found the perfect balance as a working actor, with various acting stints in theater, lucrative appearances on popular TV shows, and several small roles in films. Pascal has also worked in regional and Off-Broadway theater, winning an L.A. Drama Critics Circle Award along the way. Furthermore, he has appeared regularly on shows such as "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-16) and "Graceland" (USA, 2013-15), and in films including "Sweet Little Lies" (2011) and "The Adjustment Bureau" (2011), thus making a name on the national stage, as well.

Pascal's parents fled Chile and Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship shortly after he was born, seeking asylum in Denmark. They eventually landed in the United States where Pascal grew up. Studying acting at New York University landed him in theater roles Off-Broadway, and he also worked onstage in regional theaters including Portland Center Stage in Portland, OR and the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston. His TV debut was on the series "Good vs. Evil" (USA/Syfy, 1999-2000), and he went on to roles on such shows as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (The WB/UPN, 1997-2003) and "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). In addition to his work with New York City's LAByrinth Theater Company, Pascal has tried his hand at directing as well: "I feel in a lot of ways more suited to directing, because there's so much more responsibility there, and every part of your brain is working creatively." (Theater Mania, Jan. 17, 2012). Around 2010, his work in TV and film picked up including a recurring role on "The Good Wife" and a small part in "The Adjustment Bureau," starring Matt Damon. He looked to be getting his big break when he was cast in the pilot of a "Wonder Woman" (2011) reboot as a series regular. However, the show was not picked up. Undeterred, Pascal continued working in theater, film and TV, and in 2013, he became a regular on the police drama "Graceland."
