Simon Kirke is an English drummer best known for being a member of the rock bands Free and Bad Company. Born on July 28, 1949, Kirke played a key role in the British blues-rock scene of the late 1960s and 1970s.
After Free disbanded in 1973, Kirke and Rodgers formed Bad Company with guitarist Mick Ralphs and bassist Boz Burrell. The band became a huge success, with hits like "Can't Get Enough," "Feel Like Makin’ Love," and "Shooting Star."
