American actress Sofia Hublitz wasted little time making an impression on television audiences. A native of Richmond, Virginia, her first onscreen appearances surrounded an interest separate from acting. At 14, Hublitz was one of the contestants on the first season of Gordon Ramsay's "MasterChef Junior" (FOX, 2013-), where she was eliminated after three episodes. As an actress, she made her television debut on a well regarded two-part episode of "Louie" (FX, 2010-15) playing one of Louis CK's classmates in an extended flashback. The comedian cast her again in his webseries "Horace and Pete" (2016) where she played the younger version of Edie Falco's character.
She moved up to being a series regular with her next role. Hublitz joined the cast of "Ozark" (Netflix, 2017-) as the daughter of Jason Bateman and Laura Linney. The show tells the story of a Chicago accountant (Bateman) who suddenly moves his family to a resort at the Lake of the Ozarks after running afoul of a Mexican drug cartel. Hublitz's teenaged Charlotte hated being dragged away from her comfortable suburban life.
