Stephanie D'Abruzzo has been a Sesame Street puppeteer since 1993, has performed a myriad of background characters, and recorded vocals for a number of songs. She has worked on a variety of projects, including "Elmo's Magic Cookbook" (Food Network, 2000-01), "Sesame Street" (PBS, 1999-2000) and "Sheep in the Big City" (1999-2000). She also contributed to "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland" with Vanessa Williams (1999).
In the early 2000s, D'Abruzzo devoted her time to various credits, such as "The Book of Pooh" (Disney, 2000-02), "Scrubs" and "Sesame Street Presents: The Street We Live On" (PBS, 2003-04). D'Abruzzo continued to exercise her talent in the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "I Love the '80s: 3D" (VH1, 2005-06), "I Love the Holidays" (VH1, 2005-06) and "Elmo's Christmas Countdown" (ABC, 2007-08). Her credits also expanded to "A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa" (NBC, 2008-09). D'Abruzzo most recently appeared on "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" (HBO, 2013-).
