Susan Backlinie

Susan Backlinie brought heart-pounding thrills and adventure to countless audiences over the course of her entertainment career in various film roles.

Backlinie found her beginnings in film with roles in the action movie "Jaws" (1975) with Roy Scheider and the Christopher George drama "Day of the Animals" (1976).

She went on to act in the Dan Aykroyd action picture "1941" (1979) and "Catalina C-Lab" (NBC, 1981-82).

Later in her career, Backlinie acted in the comedy "The Great Muppet Caper" (1981) with Diana Rigg.

Susan Backlinie died on May 11, 2024 in Ventura, CA at the age of 77.
