Tish Cyrus, who was born Leticia Jean Finely, is an American manager and producer. She first met the country singer Billy Ray Cyrus in the early 90s and soon developed a romantic relationship with him. She became pregnant with Cyrus' child in early 1992 and gave birth to their daughter, Destiny Hope, later named Miley, in November of 1992.
A year later, in December of 1993, Tish and Billy Ray were married. Tish Cyrus had two more children with Billy Ray, Braison Chance in 1994 and Noah Lindsey in 2000, over the course of the next eight years. She spent the majority of the 90s and 2000s out of the public spotlight, but by the 2010s started taking an active role in her daughter Miley's burgeoning entertainment career.
After the success of Miley's TV series "Hannah Montana" (Disney Channel, 2006-2011), Tish Cyrus began serving as an executive producer on several of her daughter's film projects, including "The Last Song" (2010), "Miley Cyrus: Live at the O2" (2010), and "Miley: The Movement" (2013). By the early to mid-2010s, as her daughter Miley's career was exploding on the international stage, Tish Cyrus shepherded her daughter's career from afar, while offering helpful advice whenever her daughter asked.
Her marriage with Billy Ray Cyrus, however, did suffer a couple of setbacks, both in 2010 and 2013, in which the couple publicly separated. On both occasions, however, the Cyrus' worked out their personal problems in private, and reconciled their marriage. In 2017, she co-starred with daughter Brandi Cyrus in the reality series "Cyrus Vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer" (Bravo 2017- ).
